A2-19. Test shots

Having the script done, I broke it down into paragraphs suitable for a single shot each. I took the first 3 paragraphs and tried them out into several shots, varying both the settings and the camera moves (e.g. static, following) & angles (high angle, eye level, POV).Please find below and example of the same paragraph of the script shot in 3 different ways before choosing the preferred option for the 4th and final take. Take 1 - test Take 2 - test Take 3 - test Take 4 - final https://buildersally.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/WhatsApp-Video-2025-04-30-at-9.42.58-PM.mp4https://buildersally.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/WhatsApp-Video-2025-04-30-at-9.44.22-PM.mp4https://buildersally.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/WhatsApp-Video-2025-04-30-at-9.44.47-PM.mp4https://buildersally.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/WhatsApp-Video-2025-04-30-at-9.45.18-PM.mp4

A2-18. Risk assessment

The risks perceived by my are listed below:finding a camera operator for shooting the interview planned with my mother, while I was supposed to be the interviewer;getting access to the Pilates studio to observe my mother's workout;the longest rainy weather I have ever experienced during springtime, making shooting in the Citadel park more uncomfortable, especially for my mother;limited time to ensure I could learn to master well enough Premier Pro to montage the documentary - the biggest risk of all.Mitigations thought:Being newcomer in Alba Iulia, I do not know yet many people. A2-14. Minor Tasks – Photoshoots planning

Symbol of recovery at against all oddsAlba Iulia is the town my mother chose to reboot our lives 2 years ago. The citadel park of the city is the place where she takes long strolls to quiet her thoughts, to enjoy the sun, the plants and the chirp of the beautifully colored birds from there.I thought of following her steps hoping to find something relevant for the topic of my digipack (burnout recovery): a cherry tree defying all odds and growing out of the fortified wall of the citadel. Exactly like my mother: blooming regardless the sacrifices assumed. Both of…

A2-13. Location recce & Characters & Props

LOCATION RECCE I previously explained that my project will be a Performative Documentary about Fighting Burnout, using my mother's experience and my own, as a relative living under the same roof with the burnout sufferer.  Hence, the location needs to be directly linked to my experience. Alba Iulia is the town were I relocated with my mother 2 years ago, in order to start from scratch a new chapter of our lives. Consequently, Alba Iulia is the perfect location I could think of. In order to narrow down the options, I chose to film at the town's landmark, the Citadel.…
