Hello there! 

My name is Alexandru Ciprian Rosu and I am a student at Spark School from Transylvania College, Cluj, Romania. This blog will keep track of my progress throughout the Foundation Portfolio from AS Media Studies course and the Advance Portfolio from CIE A2 Media Studies course.

I would like to start by telling you a little bit about myself in order to get a better understanding of my circumstances and the thought process. 

I am doing my AS & A2 level courses online, from home. This is because I also have a full time job working at a construction and facility management company. I am currently an apprentice learning from my colleagues the Ins and Outs of the trade. My plan is to save enough money to start my own construction business, but until then I have a lot of knowledge and skills to acquire, which is my main reason for having this job.

The reason I chose Media Studies is because this topic, combined with my business and sociology courses, should help me out when starting my own company. I also find it interesting to dissect and analyse media on a deeper level since it’s something we all consume daily but rarely think to get a better understanding of it.
