Hello there! 

My name is Alexandru Ciprian Rosu and I am a student at Spark School from Cluj, Romania. This blog will keep track of my progress throughout the Foundation Portfolio from AS Media Study course (code 9607/ S).

I would like to start by telling you a little bit about me in order to get a better understanding of my circumstances and the thought process. 

I am doing my AS level courses from home through an online school. This is because I also have a full time job working at a construction and facility management company. I am currently a apprentice learning from my colleagues the Ins and Outs of the trade. My plan is to save enough money to start my own construction business but until then I have a lot of knowledge and skills to acquire, which is my main reason for having this job.

The reason I chose to do Media Studies is because this topic, combined with my business and sociology courses, should help me out when starting my own company. I also find it interesting to dissect and analyse media on a deeper level since it’s something we all consume daily but rarely think to get a better understanding of it.
