LOCATION RECCE
I previously explained that my project will be a Performative Documentary about Fighting Burnout, using my mother’s experience and my own, as a relative living under the same roof with the burnout sufferer.
Hence, the location needs to be directly linked to my experience. Alba Iulia is the town were I relocated with my mother 2 years ago, in order to start from scratch a new chapter of our lives. Consequently, Alba Iulia is the perfect location I could think of. In order to narrow down the options, I chose to film at the town’s landmark, the Citadel. A stroll in the Citadel alleys are best for reflection and mindfulness.
For the interview envisaged with my mother, our living room would be the perfect choice, being our safe and quite place.
CHARACTERS
There will be only 2 characters:
- myself, as the host and the producer of the documentary;
- my mother, as the guest for my interview part.
PROPS
No props needed. No special cloths.
… everything needs to be as ordinary as possible.
In terms of equipment, I will only use my phone to film and record for V.O.. I possess a Samsung Galaxy Fold 5.
