Reflection
The responses of the questionnaire were very surprising to me.
I knew my Mom’s experience with a burnout, but I could not imagine that this issue became such an extensive phenomena in recent years.
In terms of target audience, my takeouts for my project are the following:
- as not everybody is taking yet seriously the burnout, my documentary could be a tool to educate a broader audience (employers, team leaders, HR responsible, young people beginning their career, etc.), raising awareness and promoting understanding about burnout;
- the current burnout sufferers would connect with the symptoms and causes uncovered by the documentary;
- people interested in mental health could find valuable insights from the interviews filmed;
- people in the search of work-life balance could find ideas eligible for their own needs.
In terms of content, I noted down that the documentary should be a mix of real-life experience and the opinions input from a broad pool of experts (psychiatrics, psychotherapist, nutritionists, physical trainers, etc.). In the same time, the content should be presented in an informative and educational tone to be able to reach an audience as large as possible.
