Framework & possible topics
Being a technical magazine, I feel that a simple 1 page ToC is the most suitable.
I would definitely group my articles into 2 sections: Features and Regulars.
Ideas for Regulars:
- safe & safety tools, apparel & techniques;
- flash news for tools and/or materials;
- expert opinion (with a regular interview of a construction professional about specific remodelling projects;
- readers engagement (where should be posted readers questions and suggested solutions).
Ideas for Features: (this section should include chapters on very clear DYI project categories)
- woodwork
- metalwork
- tiles & pavements
- plumbing
- landscaping
- gardening
- cleaning
Once I decide upon articles under these categories, I will include relevant pictures for the most interesting ones.
MUST: in order to get closer to my audience which I already know that it includes couples with children and/ or pets, I would like to create a sort of Bonus Article always dedicated to family DIY projects such as woodwork to build toys, tree houses or pet beds and containments.
